Due to the unlicensure of Cosmetic Therapy in 2021, the by-laws have been updated and approved by majority vote of CTAO members.
2018 Fall Conference voted on updated by-laws and were passed by a majority affirmative vote. Updates included:
-Broadening the verbiage to include licensed or certified electrologist from other states
-Adding clause on members who definitively have broken association bylaws consequences. Not intended to cause harm to the professional but only to revoke discounts and special website access for a determined period of time.
-Updating Officer duties to redistribute the workload realistically
-Allowing annual stipend for board members to attract talent
-Moving membership participation committees to the website forums
